MOUNTAIN WEST ANNOUNCES 2021 CBS SPORTS FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West today announced its CBS Sports national television package for the 2021 football season. In the upcoming year, CBS Sports will televise 32 MW contests, including three on CBS.

 

The CBS Sports Network slate, which features 20 MW matchups and nine nonconference games, opens on Saturday, Aug. 28, with a pair of Week 0 games as Fresno State hosts UConn and Southern Utah travels to defending champion San José State.

 

CBS will televise three Mountain West contests, including two Conference games, Boise State at Utah State (Sept. 25) and Boise State at San Diego State (Nov. 26). The Commanders Classic between Army and Air Force at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Nov. 6 will also be broadcast on CBS. The three CBS matchups will also stream live on Paramount+, ViacomCBS’s streaming service.

 

Other early-season games of note include Vanderbilt at Colorado State (Sept. 11), Utah at San Diego State (Sept. 18) and Iowa State at UNLV (Sept. 18), all of which will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

 

The FOX Sports Mountain West broadcast schedule will be announced Thursday, May 27, at 12:30 p.m. MT. Additional broadcasts by Spectrum Sports (Hawai‘i) and Stadium will be announced in the coming months.
