The first of three preseason games for the Broncos begins this Saturday and there’s much to keep an eye on before the team kicks off the regular season on September 12th. Preseason games are fun and all but they can lose their luster pretty fast, unless of course you have a QB battle with no real separation after two weeks of camp. Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater are neck and neck according to Head Coach Vic Fangio and it’s looking more and more likely that we won’t have a decision on the starter until we bust out of the preseason.

After a scrimmage on Sunday, Broncos insider Zac Stevens of DNVR Broncos tweeted this:

Drew Lock “won” today’s scrimmage. Lock started practice on fire, including the pass of camp so far, a 60-yard bomb to Sutton. He also had another TD to Dukes in the first half Teddy had a stronger second half though, tossing the only red-zone TD on a nice fade to Seth Williams

However, just when we think someone is pulling away, the other steps up. Saturday’s first preseason game will be MUST see tv if you are a Broncos fan.
