Football to Host Northern Colorado in 2025
Colorado State adds a non-conference home game to nearly conclude the 2025 schedule.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – After a series of road game announcements, Colorado State Football will host their neighbors from Greeley in 2025 as the Rams and Northern Colorado have agreed to an additional single-game contract.
The Rams will also host UNC on Sept. 7, 2024 in Canvas Stadium before welcoming them back on Sept. 13, 2025. The addition in 2025 leaves the Rams one game shy of a fully announced 2025 non-conference schedule.
Despite the relative proximity of the two campuses, roughly 30 miles apart, consecutive games between the two schools haven’t occurred since a three-game run from 1930-32. The two teams met twice in 1945 but only five times since then, most recently in 2016.
Colorado State was scheduled to host UNC during the 2020 season before the Covid-19 pandemic altered schedules into conference play only for the Green and Gold.
