Three UNC football players found their names on the Shrine Bowl 1000

TAMPA, Fla. – A trio of Northern Colorado football players made the Shrine Bowl 1000 list. Elijah Dotson, David Hoage and Kassidy Woods represented the Blue & Gold on the distinct list.

The Shrine Bowl 1000 list is a comprehensive list of the top-1000 all-star game eligible players at the FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA levels.

UNC’s representatives have earned at least one All-Big Sky honor, with Dotson and Hoage being named All-Americans in previous seasons. Dotson in All-American in 2019, while Hoage earned his last season.

Northern Colorado tied for the second most representatives on the list of Big Sky Schools with Portland State and Sacramento State. Montana led the way with five.

The Bears kick off their 2022 season on September 3 when Houston Baptist comes to Greeley.
