Denver Nuggets Announce 2024-25 Regular-Season Schedule

Team will kick off season vs. Oklahoma City on October 24th, will face Phoenix on the road on Christmas Day

DENVER, August 15, 2024 – Today the Denver Nuggets announced their 2024-25 schedule, beginning at Ball Arena on October 24th against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a matchup of last season’s top two seeds in the Western Conference. 

Head Coach Michael Malone’s Nuggets will start with seven of their first 10 games at home including a season-long tying five-game homestand from Nov. 2nd to Nov 10th where they again face the Thunder on Nov. 6th and hold a rematch of the 2023 NBA Finals against the Miami Heat on Nov. 8th. The Nuggets head out on the road for 11 of their next 14 games, including two road Emirates NBA Cup games against New Orleans on Nov. 15thand Memphis on Nov. 19th

Denver has two five-game road trips this season, with the first starting in the beginning of December. That road trip kicks off a stretch of seven of nine games on the road to start the month. December is again highlighted with a Christmas Day matchup, this year away from home against the Phoenix Suns. It marks the third straight season the Nuggets will play on Christmas Day. Their second five-game road swing closes out the month of January where they will be gone a total of eight days (Jan 25th. – Feb 1st.).

The Nuggets will return to Denver with five of six games at home leading into the All-Star break. Their second five-game homestand comes at the end of March, when they are home for 10 days from Mar. 24th to Apr. 2nd. It will end a stretch where Denver will play 17 of 29 games at Ball Arena beginning Feb. 1st 

The Nuggets will face 16 sets of back-to-back games, including six with no travel, and will appear on national television 22 times. Denver will play seven games on TNT (Oct. 24 vs. OKC, Dec. 3 vs. GSW, Jan. 7 BOS, Jan. 14 at DAL, Jan. 21 vs. PHI, Feb. 27 at MIL, Apr. 1 vs. MIN), 11 on ESPN (Nov. 1 at MIN, Nov. 22 vs. DAL, Dec. 25 at PHX, Jan. 29 at NYK, Jan. 31 at PHI, Feb. 5 vs. NOP, Mar. 7 vs. PHX, Mar. 12 vs. MIN, Mar. 17 at GSW, Mar. 19 at LAL, Apr. 9 at SAC) and four on ABC (Jan. 25 at MIN, Feb. 22 vs. LAL, Mar. 2 at BOS, Mar. 9 at OKC). Additionally, the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies are the six Western Conference teams that Denver will face only three times.
