CSU To Open 2021 USVI Paradise Jam Against Bradley Nov. 19

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State will open the 2021 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam against Bradley, the organizing committee announced today. The

Rams and Braves will meet on Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. MT (2 p.m. AT) at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Colorado State and Bradley, out of the Missouri Valley Conference. In history, CSU is 13-13 overall against current members of the MVC, including 2-3 on neutral courts.

CSU will face either Brown or Creighton in its second game of the tournament, as the two contests make up the upper portion of the bracket. CSU has never met Brown and is 1-3 all-time against Creighton, though the two have never met on a neutral court. The lower side is comprised of Northeastern versus Duquesne and Southern Illinois against Colorado in the other two first-round matchups.

For the first time ever in the US Virgin Islands the tournament will partner with ESPN, streaming all games on its ESPN3/ESPN+ platforms. The men’s tournament will be an eight-team bracket, with losing teams on day one will play the 20th at 4:15 p.m. Atlantic Time (minus-three hours for Mountain Time) and 6:45 p.m., with the winners getting a day off and playing each other on the 21st at 6:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the semifinals. The tournament’s final day on Nov. 22 will feature four more games, with the seventh-place game at 2 p.m., the fourth-place game at 4:15 p.m., the third-place game at 6:45 p.m., and a 9 p.m. tip-off for the championship.
