At this point, pretty much anytime the Colorado State Rams are playing, one could easily tab them for their Game of the Week. At 9-0, the Rams are certainly must see and with another test coming into Moby Arena this weekend, a lot of eyes will be interested to see what happens in Fort Collins.

Over the weekend, CSU was faced with what most of assumed would be a battle to the end against then 8-1 Saint Mary’s. However, the Rams had zero interest in winning in comeback or late game fashion. In fact, star player David Roddy seems to be over the drama of the “comeback.”

“I think we’re done with trailing and trying to comeback,” Roddy told me on the Hull Show ahead of the Saint Mary’s game. “I think we’re just gonna try to get out to an early lead and maintain it. That’s the goal.”

That they did. They never trailed and built upon a 35-24 lead at the half, ultimately winning 74-58. Roddy, Isaiah Stevens and a deep roster controlled this one from start to finish.

Now another solid basketball team heads to FC in Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are 6-2 and with key players such as guard Iverson Molinar and Tolu Smith, don’t expect that 10th W to come easily for Colorado State.

The Rams are off until Saturday which is probably a good things as they’ve had a grueling schedule to start the season as far as traveling and number of games in a short time.

Moby Maddness is alive and well in Fort Collins and should be one of the more exciting venues in all of Colorado this season!
