CSU Announces TV Schedule Updates

The Rams will appear on TV at least 21 times this season, including 16 conference games that had eight date changes

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State is scheduled to appear on national broadcasts at least 21 times this year, as the Mountain West announced the television slate, including most game times, today. Of those 21 games, eight conference and one non-conference home contests will be televised, along with four neutral site non-conference and eight league road games.

CSU is slated to play eight games on CBS Sports Network, nine on FS1 and four on the ESPN family of networks so far. Several potential non-conference games are still to be determined along with more Mountain West selections by Stadium. Eight conference contests were moved from their original scheduled date to accommodate TV requests.

The first national television appearance will be Nov. 19-22 on ESPN+/ESPN3 at the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam, a all games will be broadcast from the site. CSU’s non-conference contest against Saint Mary’s (Calif.) will be shown on FS1, with a 9 p.m. tip in Moby Arena. The Mississippi State contest in Fort Worth, Texas on Dec. 11 in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Classic at Dickies Arena will be shown on ESPNU, starting at 12 p.m. MT.

In conference action, CSU will open at New Mexico on Tue., Dec. 28 on FS1, with a 9 p.m. tip from The Pit. In all, 16 of CSU’s 18 Mountain West games will be broadcast nationally, with eight from Moby Arena that required movement of six games from their original dates.

The annual MW Men’s Basketball Championship will open on March 9 with three games at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., with the title game for the league’s automatic NCAA Tournament berth played on Saturday, March 12. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network with the championship game on CBS.

Additional announcements on other television selections and remaining tip times will be made in the coming weeks.

CSU will host a Homecoming scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 9 prior to the football game between the Rams and San Jose State.
