This is it! The Colorado State Rams made it to the BIG DANCE for the first time since 2013. It’s been a wonderful season all year long for the Rams and now they have a chance to show the world what they can do.

Fresh off another contract extension, Head Coach Niko Medved leads his #6 seed Rams against Juan Howard’s #11 seed Michigan Wolverines.

Michigan went 7-9 away from Ann Arbor this season but did manage to win five “Quad 1” games in a a very competitive league, including a 14-point win over San Diego State on Dec. 4 and a 13-point win over UNLV in Las Vegas back on Nov. 19. Michigan also beat #3 Purdue at home, 82-58, and won by six at No. 23 Ohio State earlier this month. So this team is certainly capable of winning big games.

The Mountain West Tournament didn’t go how CSU wanted it to but the fact that their ticket was already punched well before their first contest certainly made the loss to San Diego State easier to take.

Can CSU put the Rams name on the national map on Thursday? They’ll be the first game in action on Thursday so a lot of eyes will be on them.
