Monday’s nights game 2 between Denver and Portland is a must win if the Nuggets hope to take control of this 1st round series. Short handed and outmatched in game 1, somehow, someway, Michael Malone has to find a way to take some of the heat off of Nikola Jokic. Held to just 1 assist, the Blazers had Denver right where they want them; Joker is gonna score anyway so just make sure to shut off passing lanes and don’t allow him to beat you more ways than 1.
The Mile High Crew will have to get creative from here on out. If they can find a way to take care of home court on Monday, then grab one on the road later in the week, suddenly things won’t look so bad. First things first; MUST WIN MONDAY
