Football Adds 2026 Game at Wisconsin
The game will be the first meeting in the series between Colorado State and Wisconsin.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State has added a future non-conference football game at Big 10 opponent Wisconsin for the 2026 season.
The game is scheduled for Sept. 5, 2026 and will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
“We are excited to add another high-caliber opponent to our non-conference schedule in Wisconsin,” said Director of Athletics Joe Parker. “It is always the goal in our non-conference schedule to find match-ups that are appealing to our fans, give our program a national audience, and allow our student-athletes the opportunity to showcase their talents at the highest levels. Wisconsin and Camp Randall meet all three criteria.”
Colorado State’s last visit to a Big Ten opponent came in 2016 when the Rams traveled to Minnesota. However, the Rams have games at Big Ten schools, Iowa and Michigan, for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, respectively.
The addition of the Badgers also gives Colorado State at least two games against Power 5 opponents each year through 2026.
Future Non-Conference Opponents (Home Games Listed First):
2021 – South Dakota State, Vanderbilt, at Toledo, at Iowa
2022 – Middle Tennessee, Sacramento State, at Michigan, at Washington State
2023 – Washington State, Dixie State, at Colorado, at Middle Tennessee
