Colorado State Announces 2021 Homecoming Date and Football Promotions
The Rams open the season and welcome fans back to Canvas Stadium on Sept. 4.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – When Colorado State welcomes fans back into Canvas Stadium to kick off the 2021 football season, the program will do so with a bevy of fan-centric options to celebrate returning Ram fans to campus.
The Rams open the season on Sept. 4 vs. South Dakota State and have a six-game slate that includes Southeastern Conference foe Vanderbilt, defending Mountain West champion San Jose State, in-state rival Air Force, as well as Boise State and Nevada.
San Jose State has also been designated as the annual Homecoming and Family Weekend game, and after a year away from Canvas Stadium, Homecoming is sure to bring an extra level of energy for fans of the Green and Gold.
“We are beyond excited to get to welcome alumni and Rams fans home again for Homecoming and Family Weekend 2021,” said Kristi Bohlender, Executive Director of the Colorado State University Alumni Association. “The fall season and everything that comes with it is such a special time on campus for our green and gold community. Ram Pride shines brightest when we’re together and the hope of bringing generations of Rams back together again to celebrate one of our most treasured traditions will be a light to look forward to.”
Four of Colorado State’s six games will have a uniform theme as well with the annual Orange Out (Vanderbilt) and State Pride (Air Force) games sure to be in high demand.
A new, never-before-seen uniform will be unveiled prior to Homecoming vs. San Jose State, and a new twist on the Orange Out Ag Day uniforms will make its first appearance in 2021.
