The University of Northern Colorado chose not to play a “real” game this spring, instead organizing a couple of scrimmages against teams somewhat nearby. Since hiring former Broncos star, Ed McCaffrey, UNC has not played a single game. However, Coach McCaffrey seems to be making some changes to his staff. According to Footballscoop.com, McCaffrey is moving on from offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin and running backs coach Lyle Moevao.
Baldwin had a deep tie to McCaffery as he served as McCaffery’s wide receivers coach at Stanford.
Northern Colorado is set to open its 2021 season at Colorado Sept. 3.
